EXHIBITION PROPOSALS

  

ARTISTS:  OUR GALLERY IS NOW ACCEPTING EXHIBITION PROPOSALS FROM METRO-WEST ARTISTS.


MEDIA considered is limited to two-dimensional artwork. (Paintings, prints, drawings, photos, collages, etc.)


The space:


5 walls:  14', 20'9", 16'7", 8'4", 7'4"

Wall height is 94", plus a 6" high carpeted display riser.

Lighting: Track lighting with Hallogen floods.


You are encouraged to visit the gallery to see this space and envision your exhibition.


The gallery is available for one week to three week durations.


(SINGLE EVENING CHARITY EVENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED)


EXHIBITION PACKAGES:

 

1. FREE.

 

Free exhibitions are available with the following conditions:

  • Non Profit Orgainzations
  • Artists who have their artwork framed by our gallery. ($1,000. minimum)
  • Artists & Groups who publicize and host an exhibition opening attended by at least fifty people from their own guest list.
  • Commissions: 25% will be deducted from any sales resulting from an exhibition in this category.


2. PAID.

 

Gallery rental is available for the following rates,

which include one evening opening reception with basic beverages & refreshments:


  • One Week= $300.
  • Two Weeks= $500.
  • Three Weeks= $750.
  • Commissions: 15% will be deducted from any sales resulting from an exhibition in this category.


FREE SERVICES.

 

For either of the above packages, at no extra cost.

 

  • One evening opening reception with basic beverages & refreshments.
  • Installation
  • Identification and price labels for artwork.
  • Sales assistance
  • Curating & art selection (if requested)

 



OPTIONAL PAID SERVICES.

 

These optional services are available for either of the above packages, at extra cost.

 

  • Wall painting (custom colors or white) $ 250 + paint.
  • Art photography (digital) $50/single piece, multiple pieces for $35 each
  • Postcard design $50
  • Postcard printing (quote)
  • Postcard mailing (quote)
  • Press release writing & distribution $25
  • Opening reception custom refreshments (quote)
  • Additional evening receptions $100.
  • Video interview with slide show (5 -10 miinutes) $250.
  • Website design & hosting (quote)



HOW TO SEND A PROPOSAL

 

EMAIL a short a description of your exhibition to bruce@woodshedgallery.com

 

INCLUDE:

 

  • Solo or Group, with names of artists.
  • Media (painting, photos, etc.)
  • Duration (1-3 weeks / single day non-profit event)
  • 1-3 photos of representing the type of work to be included in the exhibition. (Or a link to a website showing them.)
  • A link to your personal or organization's website (if available)
